Wanted: Seconds player

My name is Carol, and I am a founding member of The Stateside Steel Band, a five member group formed in 1996 that is based out of Alrington in Northern Virginia and performs in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We play for fun first, and profit second.

Our seconds player is moving to New York and I am in search of potential replacements. If anyone is a seconds player in the DC area, or knows someone who is, please contact me on this message board with e-mail addresses where I can contact you. It is important that the player be able to read sheet music, and preferable (but not required) that he or she also feel comfortable improvising solos.

I will provide more information about the band to interested players. I would also consider anyone who currently plays another pan but is interested in learning the seconds.
